Easter events for all the family

Families are invited to join the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust this Easter holiday for some fun wildlife activities.

Early spring is a wonderful time to get out onto nature reserves and discover wildlife. This Easter, Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust Education Officers have organised a series of events for children at Gibraltar Point National Nature Reserve near Skegness, Whisby Nature Park near Lincoln and on the South Humber Bank at Far Ings National Nature Reserve and the Waters' Edge Country Park in Barton.

Easter at Whisby Nature Park

Saturday, April 03 – Sunday, April 18
The Great Whisby Easter Egg Hunt
10.30am – 3.30pm
The famous and popular Whisby Easter Egg Hunt: crack the mystery and unscramble the mess the Whisby Easter Bunny has left.
There is a prize for each completed trail leaflet.
Pick up the trail leaflet from the Natural World Centre. £1.50 per trail
Please note: This self guiding trail requires adult supervision.

Easter at Gibraltar Point National Nature Reserve

Saturday, April 03 
Excellent Egg-tastic Easter
2pm - 4pm
Hop along to Gibraltar Point for Easter arts, crafts and an Easter Egg Hunt.

Follow the trail: what eggs will you find? Who do they belong to? Perhaps there are some you can eat?

At Gibraltar Point, you can also take time out to relax in The Point Café with a steaming bowl of soup or a delicious scone with jam. If you are in North Lincolnshire, visit the Far Ings Visitor Centre for fabulous views across the reserve and the Humber estuary.
