Press Release History of the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust

Press Release Archive: Thursday 21 July 2011

Lincolnshire’s wildlife needs you

There is still time for you to have your say in the plans for Lincolnshire’s species and habitats.  The draft Lincolnshire Biodiversity Action Plan public consultation closes on Friday 29 July.

Lincolnshire Biodiversity PartnershipThe draft third edition of the Biodiversity Action Plan sets an agenda for conservation of wildlife and habitats until 2020.  Only one week remains in the public consultation with comments and suggestions on this draft document ensuring the best outcome for wildlife across Lincolnshire, North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire.

"We have already had a brilliant response to the consultation with some very useful comments but there could be many more people out there with insight who we would like to comment" said Catherine Collop, Biodiversity Services Officer. "This version of the Biodiversity Action Plan builds on work undertaken over the last ten years, and sets out the priorities until 2020 so now is the time to influence those priorities and the way action will be delivered."

Ten lucky people will get something back for their thoughts! A prize draw for ten bottle-top bird feeders will be drawn at random from all the respondents at the end of the consultation.

Press release issued by the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust on behalf of the Lincolnshire Biodiversity Partnership.
