Location and Access

This small site is situated on the railway embankment of Eastfield Road, North Killingholme. Due to the sensitivity of the site and the terms of the Trust's agreement to manage railway land, access is by special permit only.


Description and Management

The grassland of the reserve represents a type of habitat with specialised plant species that has all but disappeared through changing land use. Plants of interest include bee orchid, yellow-wort and restharrow, and over 50 species have been recorded.

Management consists of controlling scrub and annual autumn mowing.
