About the event

Join members of Alford and Mablethorpe Area Group for a talk on 'Environmental Features And Food Production' by Ian Willoughby, Environmental Co-Ordinator For Dyson Farming.

Dyson Farming operates on a large scale in Lincolnshire and elsewhere in the country but the environment is still important with, for instance, over 400km of hedges to manage. Woodland management and the restoration of watercourses are also undertaken. Maintenance of a healthy soil is increasingly important. Ian was brought up on a local farm so has good local knowledge.

Meetings are free but we usually have a raffle. Donations to group funds are always welcome. There is some parking adjacent to the hall with more almost opposite in East End car park. Coffee or tea is usually served either before the meeting or perhaps during the interval. Meetings normally finish about 9.00pm.

You do not need to be a member to join our activities, all welcome!
