Inspiring people

We want to inspire an interest in the natural world by providing opportunities for everyone to learn about and have access to wildlife and wild places.

Every year we help hundreds of children to find nature and increase their confidence outdoors through family activities, regular children’s nature groups and school outreach sessions. We want children to go home with leaves in their hair, dirt on their hands and a little bit of nature in their heart!

We also provide adult learning courses, volunteering opportunities, events for all ages, and we host local Area Groups whose volunteers' organise wildlife talks, walks and fundraising events.

Wild Wellbeing

Experience the healing power of trees with forest bathing. Scientists have found evidence that a walk in nature can help reduce stress levels and  strengthen the immune system.

Read our forest bathing information, and find a woodland reserve near you to give it a go!
