Guided Hedgehog Walk - Whisby Nature Park
Whisby Nature Park,
Moor Lane, Thorpe-on-the-Hill, LN6 9BWAbout the event
Are you taking part in this year's Hedgehog Walk Challenge? A hedgehog's tiny legs can cover up to an amazing 3km in a single night - so if they can do it, we reckon you can too!
Challenge the whole family, your friends, or maybe your toddler or preschool group to walk 3km, and access loads of fun Timmy Time goodies and inspiration to keep you going. Sign up here and download your pack, including posters, factsheets and activity sheets. It's a wonderful way to get out and about in spring, discover more about hedgehogs and how we can help them, and raise some money for local wildlife.
You can walk your 3km anywhere you like and in as many stretches as you want, but if you're feeling energetic and fancy taking it all on in one go and exploring a nature reserve at the same time, we've got four guided Hedgehog Walks taking place over the Easter holidays. Each one will be led by Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust staff, and will go at a family-friendly pace! Please register on the main Hedgehog Walk Challenge site beforehand and we'll be printing out the certificates ready for all the hoglets who successfully complete the distance to take home with them.
The guided 3km walks are at:
