About the event
Barton Area Group's regular field trips are open to everyone - you don't need to be a member. This time they're heading to RSPB Bempton Cliffs. Bempton Cliffs, on the spectacular Yorkshire coast, is home to one of the UK's top wildlife spectacles. Around half a million seabirds gather here between March and August to raise a family on the towering chalk cliffs that overlook the North Sea.
Meet at the car park at Ness End, Far Ings National Nature Reserve, for 9am to go together - car sharing is available. This is a full-day activity and is expected to finish around 4pm.
Please be aware that there is an entry charge for Bempton Cliffs; RSPB members free.
To get to Ness End Farm from Barton-upon-Humber, travel west along Far Ings Road, go past the brown signs for Far Ings Visitor Centre and past the turning for the hotel. The road narrows and after 300 yards Ness End Farm car park is on your right (please note that the postcode for satnav is DN18 5RG, but this will also take you to the main Visitor Centre car park).
