About the event

Join Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust Education Officers at Whisby Education Centre for a special whittling workshop exclusively for young people aged 16-17 years. Learn the basics of knife safety, knife law and some basic cutting techniques to create a range of tools, implements and art.

This workshop is specifically for young people aged 16 and 17 years of age, without the need for parental supervision. You can come and join with other like-minded young people and learn a new skill.

Suitable for: Young people aged 16 years or 17 years. Beginners. No Dogs.

What to bring: Outdoor clothing and footwear appropriate to the season. Hot drinks available.

Weather: Where a workshop is dependent on the weather, we may have to make changes or, on rare occasions due to extreme weather, cancel to ensure the safety of all.

Parents/Guardians: Parents/Guardians of attendees will need to drop them off at Whisby Education Centre by 10am and will need to return to pick them up at 12noon. Parents/Guardians of attendees will need to have signed the permissions form before the beginning of the workshop.

Car parking: Please park and pay in the main Whisby Nature Park car park.
