Delivering multiple benefits for people and wildlife: a catchment based approach
The Ancholme Catchment Partnership (ACP) is part of the national initiative of Catchment Based Approach (CaBA) where collaborative working is resulting in activities on the ground for all 100+ river catchments across England and Wales.
It covers the upper reaches of the River Rase and becks like Kingerby that flow into the Ancholme out into the Humber and North Sea to the Alkborough Flats to the west of the Ancholme on the banks of the Humber. See the map below for more detail.
As a new partnership for 2020, we are currently developing an Integrated Water Management Plan which will be available as a draft here for consultation in early 2021.
The Ancholme Catchment is a sustainable and diverse water environment
that benefits people and wildlife, underpinning a locally prosperous
and vibrant economy.
