About the event

Join members of Alford and Mablethorpe Area Group for a talk on the 'Wild Wrendale' project by Hannah Dale.

Due to the poor profit from arable crops the farm, near Brigg, has been rewilded since 2019 and they have seen great improvements in the variety and numbers of wildlife species aided by the work they have done by creating ponds, woodland planting etc. At the end of last year a pair of beavers were introduced to a large fenced area, the first beavers in the county for 400 years.

Meetings are free but we usually have a raffle. Donations to group funds are always welcome. There is some parking adjacent to the hall with more almost opposite in East End car park. Coffee or tea is usually served either before the meeting or perhaps during the interval. Meetings normally finish about 9.00pm.

You do not need to be a member to join our activities, all welcome!
