About the event

Here at Whisby we have all stages of woodland, from low scrub through to mature oaks, by maximising this patchwork of differing ages, the more species we can provide a home for on the reserve.  On this task you'll grab a bowsaw and help us clear an area to make it more suitable for the wildlife that frequents the area.

What to bring:

Packed lunch, suitable footwear (steel toecaps if possible), well fitting gardening gloves, wet weather gear, sun hat and cream, insect repellent, water bottle.

Please ensure you are fit and able to undertake this task, some of the work will be on a slope.  No under 18s. No dogs. Free parking is offered to all volunteers to be confirmed on booking.
