About the event

Join Alford and Mablethorpe Area Group for a talk on the conservation progress at South Ormsby Estate by Paul Barnes the Estate Manager. Since Mr and Mrs Thornes bought the estate in 2016 much conservation work has been done including tree and hedge planting and de-silting the lake. The farming has been converted to organic production. Recording the wildlife is ongoing including a number of birdsong acoustic recorders.

Meetings are free but we usually have a raffle. Donations to group funds are always welcome. There is some parking adjacent to the hall with more almost opposite in East End car park. Coffee or tea is usually served either before the meeting or perhaps during the interval. Meetings normally finish about 9pm.

You do not need to be a member to join our activities, all welcome!
