About the event

This workshop is aimed at anyone with some knowledge of UK butterfly species to learn the skills needed to take part in regular surveys of butterflies across a whole season. Ian Paterson will outline in the classroom and demonstrate on the reserve how to survey, record and upload results to the relevant mobile apps to ensure ongoing data collection for monitoring the state of UK butterflies. This workshop will give you the skills to take part as a trained volunteer in field surveys. Details of where/when these are in Lincolnshire will be shared on the day.
