About the event

Rigsby Wood is an ancient woodland lying at the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds. Join us for our open day where you can discover bluebells will be in abundance along with wood anemone, wood-sorrel, early-purple orchid, sweet woodruff and ragged-robin. Also keep an eye out for breeding birds such as tawny owl, great spotted woodpecker, treecreeper, finches and warblers.

This is a great chance for new visitors to discover the walking trails through the woodland, and for regular visitors to learn a little more about the wildlife and conservation practices at this precious woodland site.

The lower part of the wood can be very wet so access may be restricted.

No booking necessary.

You don't need to be a member to join in our activities. All welcome!
