About the event

Green sketching is an art movement that is helping to make the incredible benefits of sketching nature (which include mental wellbeing, nature connection, improved memory, focus and observation) accessible to all ages and abilities and we are delighted to bring this new opportunity to Gibraltar Point. This workshop will be led by Louise Earnshaw a Lincolnshire based artist and green sketching ambassador.

This hour and a half family session will enable you and your child to immerse yourselves in the beautiful surroundings of the reserve. Working alongside each other you will learn skills and techniques both of you can use over and over in your own time to benefit from slowing down in nature and observing its beauty.

All specialist materials are provided and you and your child will be given a mini sketchbook to take home and continue your green sketching journey.

Meet at the Old Coastguard Station, suitable for children aged 6 years and above. Parking is available, normal parking fees apply. This is an outdoor activity so do come dressed for the weather.
