About the event
The Messingham Sand Quarry Open Day is hosted by Scunthorpe and Brigg Area Group. It is a great chance to discover the flora and fauna of this wonderful wetland reserve. Weather permitting, we hope to have pond dipping and bug hunting, plus guided walks can be arranged if volunteers are available.
Situated on the B1400 road from Messingham to Kirton in Lindsey. SE 908 032. Nearest Postcode - DN17 3RD. Look for the pylon. The entrance is around 50m away. The entrance will be signposted on the day.
